Evenings in the house

For the evening the house has a few lovely places: the bar in the style of the Orient Express, the Fumoir and the wine cellar beneath the chapel.

Orient Express

A small bar in the style of the famous train, dark wood, leather, warm light. A place for a glass after a long day outdoors, without any fuss.

Fumoir

The Fumoir is our conservatory looking into the garden and out over the swimming pond, the only indoor space where smoking is allowed. We keep cigars ready on request; you can charge them to your room in the Honesty Bar.

Wine cellar and tasting room

Beneath the chapel lies a cool vaulted cellar with a selection that has grown over the years. In the inner room, the tasting room, a long table stands under calm light.

Say the word a day ahead and the table will be laid when you go down, or we set a bottle aside for you.

Barista coffee machine

Fresh coffee from whole beans, daily from 7 am to 10 pm. Place a cup underneath and choose your blend right at the machine. Milk and accessories are set out; tell us if anything is missing.
