In the valley
The valley has its own app and website, both well kept. Here are the most useful ways in.
Your guest card
You received the guest card from us at arrival. It opens many doors in the valley.
- Free bus travel on all lines in the valley and to Oberjoch, Jungholz, Reutte, Vils and Füssen
- Summer mountain lifts: one ride up and down per night, plus one day at the Wasserwelt Haldensee
- Discounts on ski and bike hire, climbing and at the pools
App, webcams and weather
Hiking routes with GPS, events, which huts are open. In the morning, a look at the live webcams and the mountain weather is worth it.
By bus
In summer 2026 three lines run, free with the guest card (except the Vilsalpsee line).
- Line 120: Reutte, Tannheim, Oberjoch
- Line 121: Tannheim, Vilsalpsee (fare applies)
- Line 123: Pfronten, Grän, Haldensee, Nesselwängle
Dogs only with a muzzle. E-bikes are not carried.
The mountain lifts
Three lifts take the climb off your hands. Summer 2026:
- Neunerköpfle, Tannheim, 8:40 am to 4:15 pm
- Füssener Jöchle, Grän, 8:45 am to 4:30 pm
- Wannenjoch, Schattwald, 8:40 am to 4:10 pm

On foot
Many consider the valley Austria’s loveliest hiking region, from valley strolls and high paths to the summits. Lovely themed trails: the Schmugglersteig at the Wannenjoch and the 9erlebnisweg at the Neunerköpfle.
By bike
Fifteen mountain-bike routes and twenty-two road-cycling tours run through the valley. Please ride marked routes only. The cycling map is available at the tourism offices.
