Yes — every suite is a fully fledged holiday apartment: its own fully fitted kitchen, final cleaning included. The difference to a classic holiday apartment: we are here. Breakfast on request, fresh rolls at your door by 8 am, and a wellness area in the house.

As a rule, three nights. The best rate applies from seven nights; stays of three to six nights carry a small nightly surcharge. Details under rates.

After booking, a deposit of 30 per cent of the total amount is due within 7 days; the balance is due 30 days before arrival. For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, the total amount is due within 3 days. Payment is easy by payment link (credit card) or bank transfer.

More than 30 days before arrival you cancel free of charge; after that the full amount falls due. If we manage to re-let the suite, the fee is reduced accordingly. Full details in the terms; we recommend travel cancellation insurance.

Every suite can be taken by one guest; the rate applies per suite. In return the space is all yours: your own kitchen, a balcony or loggia — and in the evening the Bauernstube or the house bar, whenever you feel like company.

Check-in between 3 and 6 pm, check-out by 10 am. Arriving later? Just let us know and we will arrange it. Earlier arrivals or later farewells are possible subject to availability.

Yes, of course — just come by and we will keep your luggage safe until your suite is ready.

Nesselwängle sits at the entrance to the Tannheimer Tal, within easy reach of Munich, Stuttgart and Zurich. By car you drive right up to the house; parking spaces and the garage are just beside it. If you come by train, we will gladly collect you from anywhere within 50 kilometres — just tell us when you arrive. More under getting here.

Right at the house, free of charge, plus a garage and an EV charger; you charge your car at a flat €0.45 per kWh, your e-bike free of charge.

Yes — you receive the Tannheimer Tal guest card from us on arrival, at no extra charge. It gives you free buses through the whole valley as far as Reutte, Vils and Füssen, one cable-car ride a day in summer, and a day at the Wasserwelt Haldensee — plus discounts on ski and bike hire. On request we send it to you by email in advance — travel into the valley early and use everything from the day you arrive.

We open seasonally. Closed mid-April to mid-May and mid-November to mid-December.

You reach Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau in a good half hour by car (around 37 km), the old town of Füssen a little closer. With the guest card included in your stay, the bus also takes you into the neighbouring Allgäu, free of charge. More under Near Neuschwanstein.

Yes, each of the seven suites has its own fully fitted kitchen. Final cleaning is included.

No — at our mountain elevation it is rarely needed: nights cool down reliably, and every suite has a balcony or loggia for airing.

All suites have nearly soundproof windows. The Turmsuite Dornröschen and the Loftsuite Geierwally are particularly quiet — mention it when you enquire and we will plan accordingly.

No, the house has no lift — the suites are reached by stairs. If steps are a concern, tell us when you enquire: we will honestly recommend the suite that suits you best.

We have no suites classified as fully accessible — the house has grown over time, with stairs and no lift. Please call before booking: we will discuss openly what works well with your needs and what does not.

Breakfast from the Bauernstube is an optional extra: €18.50 per person; children aged 7 to 12: €12.50; children aged 6 and under free with their parents. Served daily between 8:30 and 10 am, ordered in advance. If you would rather breakfast in your suite, fresh rolls are at your door by 8 am.

Vegetarian is no trouble at breakfast from the Bauernstube, and with a word in advance we set the table for vegan guests too. In the evening you cook in your own kitchen, or we recommend the right places in the valley.

Yes — ideally tell us when you book, and we will set breakfast accordingly. The kitchen in every suite gives you extra peace of mind.

We do not offer classic half board: every suite has its own kitchen, on request we set up fondue, raclette or the barbecue ready to go, and we gladly reserve tables in the valley. A weekly dining evening at the house is planned — ask us how it is coming along.

Yes, on request we pack you a Jause for the trail — just give us a word in advance. For something more festive, order the hand-packed picnic basket: the open-air table.

Yes, small and for house guests only: steam bath, whirlpool and infrared, plus the natural swimming pond in the garden in summer. For a full day in the water, the Alpentherme Ehrenberg in Reutte is around half an hour away by car. More under Wellness.

No sauna here — instead a steam bath with warm mist rather than dry heat, plus a whirlpool, an infrared cabin and a quiet room, and in summer the natural swimming pond in the garden. Small, for house guests only, and often all yours. More under Wellness.

Daily from 4 to 7 pm. Before that, from 2 to 3 or from 3 to 4 pm, house guests can reserve the whole area as a private hour — free of charge, via the digital guest folder, for today and the next two days.

Yes — up to age 15 accompanied by their parents, from 16 on their own as well.

Yes. The German autumn half-term 2026 falls between 5 October and 6 November depending on the state, and the Sunneschlössli is well bookable in those weeks: families in the Jägersuite Wilhelm Tell or the Erkersuite Andreas Hofer, each with two bedrooms, couples in the smaller suites. The band ”Available at short notice” on the offers page shows what is free right now, from three nights without a short-stay supplement.

Yes — families stay with plenty of room: the Jägersuite has two bedrooms and its own living room, several suites have sofa beds, a cot and a high chair are ready on request, and your own kitchen makes days with children easy. The guest card includes a day at the Wasserwelt Haldensee; children pay less for breakfast, and up to age 6 it is free. More under with children at the Schlössli.

We have a dog ourselves. Just have a word with us before booking and we will find the right suite and settle the details. More under With your dog.

Not in the Bauernstube or the wellness area — but your dog waits comfortably in your suite, and there are meadows and paths enough all around the house.

Yes, in our own St. Antonius Chapel, for around twenty to thirty guests, with the whole house booked exclusively. More under weddings.

Yes, as a whole: all seven suites, the Bauernstube, the wellness area and the chapel — with no other guests. For private celebrations as much as for board retreats or private dining. More under The whole Schlössli.

It is made for them: with exclusive use there are no other guests and no passing trade, we run the house ourselves, and the underground garage takes you straight into the building. On request we sign a non-disclosure agreement.
