In the Loftsuite, living and sleeping share one open room, quiet beneath the roof, spread across 50 square metres. On the wall hangs an original painting by Anna Stainer-Knittel, the Tyrolean painter who became known as the Geierwally. The southeast balcony catches the first light of the day.
As a young woman, Anna Stainer-Knittel abseiled into a rock face in the Lechtal mountains and lifted an eagle from its eyrie. The story made her famous as the Geierwally and later became a novel. Gayatri Devi, the Maharani of Jaipur, once stayed here and said it was her favourite suite.
