In the house. Good to know.

The practical side at a glance. Every suite has its own fully equipped kitchen; the rest we take care of. Here is an overview of what is good to know around the house; the full detail is always in the digital guest folder in your suite.

Provisions, your way

Every suite has its own fully equipped kitchen: hob and crockery, fridge, kettle and coffee in the morning — everything is there. Shopping is a few minutes away in the valley. In the morning you have the choice: breakfast in the Bauernstube or fresh rolls at your suite door. And if you are out and about a lot, give us your laundry and we bring it back fresh in the evening.

Arriving and getting around

Parking spaces and a garage sit right by the house; e-bike charging is free, and your car charges at a flat 45 cents per kWh. If you have no bike of your own, borrow one of our e-bikes in two sizes (S and M). Bicycles are kept dry in the garage; in winter, skis and poles go into the ski cellar. Nesselwängle lies at 1,200 metres at the mouth of the valley, within easy reach of Munich, Stuttgart and Zurich; exact directions come with your booking confirmation.

House and outlook

Throughout the house stand genuine antiques with stories: a lithograph by Salvador Dalí, a wedding wardrobe from 1838, beds from the Alexander Palace at Tsarskoye Selo and an original painting by Anna Stainer-Knittel, the Tyrolean painter known as Geierwally. Every piece found its own way to us; ask, and we will gladly tell you the story behind it. The house is heated quietly, with photovoltaics and geothermal energy, and breakfast is laid with what grows nearby. More under sustainability.

With your dog

Your dog is welcome in most of the suites; our Oskar knows every corner of the house anyway. We will sort out whatever your four-legged friend needs before you book. More under with your dog in the Tannheimer Tal.
