The castle by day, the mountains by evening
A trip to Neuschwanstein combines easily with a day in the valley. Because every one of our suites has its own kitchen, you shape the day freely, tied to no fixed times. And if you would rather leave the car behind: the guest card you receive on arrival takes you to Füssen by bus, free of charge.
For your castle day we will gladly pack the open-air table, our picnic basket filled with what the valley provides, ordered the evening before. You are at the castle early, and by the time the coaches arrive you are long since sitting with the basket in the green.

How far is it from the Sunneschlössli to Neuschwanstein? A good half hour by car, around 37 kilometres; the old town of Füssen is a little closer. Near enough for an easy morning at the castle, far enough for quiet evenings.
Can you get there without a car? With the guest card you receive on arrival, the bus takes you to Füssen free of charge; local buses continue to Hohenschwangau.
Do you need tickets in advance? Tours of Neuschwanstein Castle are limited. It is best to reserve online in advance at the official Hohenschwangau ticket centre; we are glad to help with the planning.
The quiet alternative to Füssen
