After a day outdoors, warmth is waiting: the whirlpool, the steam bath with its soft mist, the infrared cabin for two and a quiet room, plus a fitness room in the old vaulted cellar and, in summer, the swimming pond on the slope. Daily from 4 to 7 pm all of this is there for the guests in the house. And before that it becomes your private spa: for one hour the whole area is yours alone.

An indoor whirlpool: warm, bubbling water all year round, even when the swimming pond rests in winter. After a day in the cold, especially welcome.

The natural swimming pond
In summer there is also the swimming pond in the garden, a natural pool on the slope with a view into the valley. From June to September, no chlorine, a lawn to lie on all around, a few steps from the house.
Fitness
If you would rather stay active indoors, the old vaulted cellar holds a fitness room of its own: rowing machine, ergometer, dumbbells and a punching bag. On rainy days especially, a good place to get moving.
Massage
Massages in the house are given by Mario Tumler. For many years he ran hotel spas in the Tannheimer Tal and the Allgäu, among them the Panoramahotel Oberjoch, and in 2022 the European Health & Spa Awards named him Europe’s best spa manager. Among other things he is trained in physiotherapy and osteopathy, and he likes to work with what the mountains offer, such as arnica after a long hike. With us he gives classic or sports massages, in the morning, Monday to Friday, in the spa or in your suite. An hour costs 80 €, which you settle directly with him. Ask us at least two days ahead and we agree the time for you.
Your private spa
If you would like the area to yourself, reserve a private hour via the digital guest folder: from 2 to 3 or from 3 to 4 pm, before the general opening. Choose the day, we confirm right away. The private hour is free of charge for house guests.
We are happy to lend you bathrobes for the spa. A bathrobe costs €15 for your whole stay. Add it when you book, or order it later in the digital guest folder.
