What is happening in the house, which suite has just been freshly done up, when the cross-country trail is groomed and the swimming pond opens: here we gather what is new. Calmly, without noise.
The handover of the key
On 27 June 2026, Daniela and Frank handed us the key to the Sunneschlössli. A moment we had long worked towards, and a warm farewell to two people who ran the house with great care for many years.
And what a key: it once belonged to the church door of Nesselwängle, dated 1885, framed and passed from hand to hand over the years. Now it hangs with us, and we carry the story of the Schlössli quietly onward.
Summer 2026: we take over the Sunneschlössli
In July 2026 the Sunneschlössli becomes ours. We, Nina and Matthias, take over the house from Daniela and Frank and move in with our daughter Mathilda and our dog Oskar. Much stays as it is, because it is good. The rest we take on unhurriedly, suite by suite.
What happens next, we will share here. Until then we look forward to the first summer, the first plunge into the swimming pond, and the first guests we get to welcome ourselves.
